Two acre town centre development site comprising the residential element of a mixed-use regeneration scheme with planning permission for a 60,000 sq ft food store, 600 space multi-storey car park and 143 residential homes.

David led this project during his employment with the MF Freeman Group between 2016-18 and achieved the following during his management of the project.

Moore Achievements

  • Complex acquisition given fractured ownership, linked planning permission and restrictions on title.

  • Replaced existing car park operator on management agreement with NCP on a new Full Repairing and Insuring Lease, subject to landlord development break options.

  • Collaborated with Cheltenham Borough Council and Homes England to secure £3m of grant funding for the delivery of the strategic infrastructure associated with the development.

  • Explored alternative uses and funding arrangements for the development of the site including extra-care and build-to-rent with a view to overcoming viability challenges.
