Before establishing Moore Development Management, David led the regional strategic land and master developer division of one of the UK’s largest listed property companies, St. Modwen Properties.

As Development Director, David was responsible for a team of land, planning and delivery professionals that managed a portfolio of 10,500 homes across 12 sites at various stages of the planning and delivery cycle. These included three of the South West’s most innovative and successful mixed-use schemes: Locking Parklands (North Somerset), Buckover Garden Village (South Gloucestershire) and a significant portion of the Golden Valley development (Cheltenham).

Prior to this David worked for a family-owned developer in Gloucestershire with business interests in farming, groundworks, leisure, retirement, residential and commercial property investment and development. His role encompassed both asset management of the existing portfolio and development management of new projects for the various divisions to include acquisition, assembly and management of design team to secure optimised planning permissions and overseeing projects through the construction, marketing and disposal phases.

David’s formal property career began at the international property consultancy BNP Paribas Real Estate where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2009. He specialised in advising major clearing banks on distressed property loans and further qualified as a Registered Property Receiver in 2011 managing in excess of 50 receivership appointments across a broad range of asset classes and business sectors including part-complete residential developments, serviced apartments, holiday-parks, industrial, retail and office premises, agricultural and development land.
